Full-bodied without weight, it has fine, ripe tannins, and warming structure, with ripe fruit of blackberry, turned earth, and sage unfolding on the finish. Hold this 3-4 years and drink over the following 20 or more years. For more Napa-centric collectors, these wines from just the other side of the Mayacamas should certainly be sought out.
