(11/2023) Located relatively far south in the Napa Valley, aided by benchland elevation, Hendry Ranch extracts stunning freshness from this variety, which is traditional to Spain's Galicia. Tasting this again recently at a historic Napa Valley restaurant reminded us of its freshness and irresistible drinkability. Perhaps a bit softer than its European counterparts, it's more crisp than any other Napa white wine you're drinking and does the variety proud. Ripe lemon pulp, green apple and a whisper of stone fruit give gravity to its invigorating lime zest and saltiness on the close. Fun!
