(8/2022) This 100% Cabernet Franc has a serious amount of character. From the first pour, the dark ruby color is inviting. On the nose, the wine offers an exciting mix of light black fruits, juicy red berries, green earth tones and white rock tension. It's a classic Loire red, so you'll also find hints of bell pepper, chalk, and cocoa - without any oak. It has a grainy, medium-bodied texture with medium tannins and medium-plus acidity on the long finish. Simply put, the wine is a perfect combination of fruit and earthy structure. A solid match with anything from burgers to roast chicken to rack of lamb, it is an ideal everyday red that is entirely French in style, with some personality to spare.
