Fleshy and dry on the palate, offering incisive Meyer lemon, yellow apple and bitter quinine flavors that deepen through the midpalate. Finishes very long and spicy, with a repeating quinine flourish and a hint of florality. Drinking Window: 2020 - 2025."

(10/22/2020) "The 2017 Riesling Hyland Vineyard is a dry style modeled after Germany's Grosses Gewachs. It explodes from the glass with petrol, candied pineapple, lime peel and marmalade with an underlying streak of flint. The light-bodied palate is electric, driven by citrus and mineral character at this youthful stage. It has a singular silky texture and lots of energetic tang on the finish. I'd love to see this with a few years of bottle age! 180 cases were made. Drink Date: 2020 - 2025."

(4/1/2020) "Sourced from 45-year-old Coury clone vines, 10% botrytized, this unusual wine opens with floral, citrus and mint aromas. The light botrytis can be sensed in a delicate streak of honey, more than offset with tart lemony acidity. It's a collision more than a collaboration, though time may pull it more together. Finished dry, this wine could easily age for a decade longer and beyond."
