Sourced entirely from Laure and Clement's small 1er Cru property in the village of Hautvillers - the hometown of Dom Perignon - this is simply a scrumptious bottle of bubbles. Predominately Chardonnay rounded out by healthy amounts of Pinot Noir and Meunier, it was disgorged January 2022 with 5 grams per liter dosage. Scintillating scents of apricot, caramel salted butter, mango, pear and papaya stir the soul. Creamy, fine bubbles highlight a textural whirlwind - accented by citrus, rocky minerality and herbal complexity. The bright finish is mesmerizing. While this vintage Champagne will no doubt age gracefully over the next decade, do yourself a favor a pop a few bottles now!
