Fred Loimer's "Lois" Gruner Veltliner has a been a favorite for years! Recently, Fred has upped the quality level, producing a little bit less and focusing on only the best grapes. This 2021 is as good as we remember previous vintages, only with more density, length and complexity. It's still a super refreshing combination of pear, radish, citrus peel, and white pepper, with a generous-yet-zippy mouthfeel, but it seems just a little "more" than its simpler previous self. A delicious dry white, to be sure!
