(7/22/2021) "The 2019 Chardonnay Chloe comes from the Russian River, yet it shows an almost Sonoma Coast-like vibrancy and minerality. Deep stone fruits, brioche, honeysuckle, and flower oil notes all define the nose, and it's beautifully balanced, medium to full-bodied, and incredibly textured, with a drop-dead gorgeous finish. This is another incredible Chardonnay from this estate that ranks with the creme de la creme of the vintage."
(7/14/2022) "The 2018 Chardonnay Chloe was the last vintage with fruit from the Ritchie Vineyard. "The old vines were no longer economic," said Dumol winemaker Andy Smith, "so there's a replanting scheme going on." Now simply labeled "Chloe," the 2019 Chardonnay Chloe is bold and lush, with gregarious aromas of peach cobbler, jasmine and pastry with wafts of flint and baking spice. The full-bodied palate is satiny and expansive, with intense, ripe fruits and a very long, spicy finish. It deserves another 2-3 years in bottle. Drink Date: 2022 - 2032."
(1/2021) "The 2019 Chardonnay Chloe Ritchie Vineyard offers a beguiling combination of structure and exotic tropical accents. The Chloe is another Chardonnay in this range that really needs air to be at its best. Hints of lemon confit, passionfruit, vanillin, dried herbs and crushed rocks make for a Chardonnay long on class and nuance. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2029."
(6/30/2022) "Pure and sleek, with lemon verbena and litsea oil aromatics, while touches of lemon curd and butterscotch add complexity. Leans into a fresh note of sea salt minerality on the finish. Drink now through 2030. 960 cases made."
