(9/2023) Located an hour's drive southwest of Sancerre, this outstanding white leads with exciting aromas of nectarine, guava and ripe red apple, beautifully integrating vibrant Loire Valley tension with a plump texture from the warm 2022 vintage. With loads of chalky minerality and further notes of orange, melon, green herbs and sugar peas, this medium-plus-bodied wine has an energized finish and is a massive bargain compared to the wines from its more famous neighbor. Delicious now and over the coming two years, this is a real Sancerre beater!
