(11/2022) "The Wedge" is an appropriate name as South Africa's Pinotage can often prove a divisive but distinct grape. This iteration is on the easier-going examples, and fun for BBQ takeout. Fresh and smoked plum collide with chocolate, mint, scorched soil, with a pinch of classic Pinotage funk -- it finishes cleanly with a swath of bright juicy red cherry.
