This is warm and powerful but beautifully streamlined. Drink 2030-2045."

(3/31/2020) "From the central, loess-dominated part of the famous cru, Alzinger's 2018 Gruner Veltliner Smaragd Ried Loibenberg opens with a very delicate and elegant bouquet of ripe fruits intermixed with a very fine and crystalline flint stone note. Ripe, intense and juicy on the palate, this is a more charming, lush and accessible Veltliner compared to the Liebenberg, but the finish has the same vitality, mineral freshness and tension. The Loibenberg GV is just warmer and more charming in its remarkably elegant character. Tasted at the domain in September 2019. Drink Date: 2020 - 2035"
